We have an exciting selection of print, audiovisual, and special collections. These can be checked out in-person or via curbside pickup. Click on one of the following options to learn more about a specific collection:
Adult Books: Biography, Fiction, Graphic Novels (including DC & Marvel comics), Large Print, Mystery, Nonfiction (incuding travel books, cookbooks & more), Paperback, Science Fiction & Fantasy, and Staff Picks.
Teen Books: Biography, Fiction, Graphic Novels & Manga, High Interest Nonfiction, and Short Story Anthologies.
Children's Books: Biography, Board Books, Books in Spanish & Portuguese, Chapter Books, Early Chapter Books, Easy Readers, Graphic Novels, Magazines, Nonfiction, and Picture Books.
Periodicals Corner: Magazines (in-library use only for the first month) and Newspapers (in-library use only).
Reference Materials (all in-library use only): General Reference, Local History, Local Reference, Maps & Atlases, Tax Forms, Town of Marshfield Records, and more.
General: Audiobooks (CD, MP3, and Playaway), DVD & Blu-Ray (Documentaries, Movies, and Television Shows), and Music CDs.
Kids: Audiobooks (CD and Playaway), DVD (Documentaries, Movies, and Television Shows), Leapfrog Tablets, Music CDs, and Talking Books.
Teens: Audiobooks (Playaway) and Video Games (Nintendo Switch, PS4, and X-Box One).
Ventress Memorial Library is fine free for most items. While that means most items to not incur overdur fines, please note that patrons may still need to pay for lost or damaged items. *Items that have overdue fines are starred below.

If items do not have other holds, they can generally be renewed for the length of time that they were originally borrowed for (ex: a 1 week item can be renewed for another week). Items can be renewed up to three times. Items with other holds (which are generally new and very popular) may not be renewed, and patrons may be charged for not returning them.
