We Are Reopening!

On Wednesday 9/16, we are reopening to the public for limited hours.

  • Wednesday 12pm - 7pm (11am - 12pm for seniors and high-risk patrons)
  • Thursday 10am - 4pm (9am - 10am for seniors and high-risk patrons)

Patrons will be able to:

  • Browse the adult & YA shelves
  • Ask for reference assistance
  • Use the public computers (1 hour per person per day)
  • Print, copy, and scan (exact change required - 20¢/page black and white, 50¢/page color)
  • Visit the children's room to browse for 20 minutes at a time by appointment (register here)

Visitors over 2 years old MUST wear a mask over their nose and mouth at all times in the library, no exceptions.  At the door, visitors must give their name and contact information for contact tracing purposes, have their temperature taken and use hand sanitizer.  Visitors must maintain a 6-foot distance between themselves and other patrons and staff, and restrict themselves to a 1 hour visit. Only 25 people will be allowed in the library at a time.

Curbside Pickup

We are open for curbside pickup and phone calls during the following hours, even while we are closed to the public (note that Wednesday hours have changed as of 9/16):

  • Monday 10a-4p
  • Tuesday 12p-7p
  • Wednesday 12p-7p
  • Thursday 10a-4p
  • Friday closed
  • Saturday 10a-4p 
  • Sunday closed

Delivery between most OCLN libraries has resumed.  You can place items on on hold for curbside pickup using our online catalog, by calling us during curbside pickup hours, emailing us at, or using our online request form.

Summer Reading

It was our first year running a virtual summer reading program. We had 112 people register for the challenge with the rate of people completing the challenge increasing from last summer! Prize books, tote bags, and rubber duckies, will be available to pick up until the end of September. You can call the library during curbside pickup hours or email Erica at

Grand prizes are official and winners will be announced next week! View the prizes for children, teens, and adults.

Returns & Donations

We are accepting returns in our outdoor bookdrop only. Returns will not be accepted at the circulation desk.

At this time the library is not accepting donations. Donations may be placed in the two third-party donation bins located to the far right of the building. For more information here about current library services, click here.

Mobile Hotspots

If you are having difficulty accessing the internet or paying your internet bill, the library is here to help. Anyone with an OCLN card can call 781-834-5535, or email to request a mobile hotspot. Hotspots circulate for 2 weeks.
