The Ventress Memorial Library is closed until February 2023! Please see the carpeting closure FAQ for more information.
The library has several book groups available for adults! Interested in joining one? Contact the appropriate librarian, or stop by the library to pick up the current month's book (we keep copies for each group on hold behind the circulation desk).
This group, which reads a variety of contemporary fiction and non-fiction, meets on the second Wednesday of the month from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Cyndee Marcoux (email@example.com) is the contact for this group.
The #FYP Book Group is inspired by the "For Your Page" feature on TikTok. In other words, if you like reading books you hear about on BookTok, Bookstagram, or popular romance, thriller, and fantasy novels that were *probably* a big deal on the internet, this is the group for you! Join us in this open and book-positive space to discover the next great titles for your pages. This group meets from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. on the last Wednesday of each month. Contact Erica Ruscio (firstname.lastname@example.org) or fill out our #FYP Interest Form if you would like to join the email list for this group.
The nonfiction book group reads new and old nonfiction. This group meets from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month. Email Erica Ruscio (email@example.com) to join the email list for this group.
Uninterested in these book groups? Want a set of books for your own book group? Check out our list of circulating titles for book group kits--kits include 8-10 copies of a book as well as study guides and additional information.
