The library will be closing early at 4 PM on Tuesday, December 31st, and will be closed Wednesday, January 1st for the New Years holiday. We will reopen for our usual hours on Thursday, January 2nd.

Our adult graphic novel collection has DC & Marvel comics, biographies, and more!

Adult Books: Biography, Fiction, Graphic Novels (including DC & Marvel comics), Large Print, Mystery, Nonfiction (incuding travel books, cookbooks & more), Paperback, Science Fiction & Fantasy, and Staff Picks.

Teen Books: Biography, Fiction, Graphic Novels & Manga, High Interest Nonfiction, and Short Story Anthologies.

Children's Books: Biography, Board Books, Books in Spanish & Portuguese, Chapter Books, Early Chapter Books, Easy Readers, Graphic Novels, Magazines, Nonfiction, and Picture Books.

Periodicals Corner: Magazines (in-library use only for the first month) and Newspapers (in-library use only).

Due Dates and Overdue Fines

Ventress Memorial Library is fine free for most items. While that means most items to not incur overdur fines, please note that patrons may still need to pay for lost or damaged items. *Items that have overdue fines are starred below.

Six Week Check Out

If items do not have other holds, they can generally be renewed for the length of time that they were originally borrowed for (ex: a 1 week item can be renewed for another week). Items can be renewed up to three times. Items with other holds (which are generally new and very popular) may not be renewed, and patrons may be charged for not returning them.
