Children's Room
The Ventress Library will be participating in the nationwide 2013 summer reading program: Dig Into Reading Our program is primarily geared to elementary school age children, but will have programming appropriate for younger children scheduled as well including singer/guitarist Mama Steph. Children who wish to participate in the summer reading program may be either reading independently, or may be read to by an adult.
Overall registration for Dream Big, Read! will begin on Tuesday, June 18th in the children's room of the library. The first 200 children to register will receive a plastic book bag, a bookmark, pencil, temporary tattoo and a log to keep track of their reading progress.
