Summer Reading Program 2017: Build a Better World

This 6 Week ( Pre-K-Young Adult) Program runs:  June 26th - August 5th, 2017.

STARTING June 19th, you can sign-up and start logging from anywhere you
have the Internet - at home, at the Library, on vacation, even from a Smartphone. 
Summer Reading Program staff members will also be standing by at the Library to help you log your reading, give out prizes and listen to you talk about your reading.

Read each day of the week during the 6 week program, and you can enter a weekly drawing at the
start of each week. The weekly raffles include:  Amazon giftcards and Free admission to Treetop Adventure (Zipline & Climbing Park).

Bonus: You can also pick up a prize for reading every day, each week.

 Activities & Programs happening at the library this summer may include: cardboard engineering, art crafts, science and engineering experiments, magic, live animal shows,
a visit from local non-profits, a state senator, and more!

Please join us for our family kick-off show:  Animal World Experience, generously funded by the Friends of the library. This event will take place on June 26th at 11am.

The Children’s Department of the Ventress Memorial Library serves children, ages infant-12, as well as parents and teachers.  Our resources and programs serve to encourage literacy, spark creativity, and instill a love of lifelong learning.
