| The Friends of the Ventress Memorial Library is a volunteer organization open to all members of the community. The mission of the Friends is to support the library through fund-raising activities, advocacy, and sponsorship of programs to benefit the general public.

Did You Know? > The Friends conduct semi-annual book sales, and also maintain a rotating collection for continuous sale at the library's Book Nook. >The Friends offer a rental book inventory of recent best-sellers. > The Friends sponsor public enrichment programs for the general public. > The library relies on generous contributions from the Friends to enhance its collection and program offerings. ![]() Upcoming Events! The Friends' annual fall book sale will be held at the library on Saturday, Oct. 4th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come for a great deal on gently used books, movies, and music. Here's your chance to find that out-of-print title! Most items sell for 50 cents to one dollar, or choose a nearly new hardcover for $2.00. The Friends are currently accepting donations of books and media at the library's front desk.
